How many of us, regardless of fitness level, have walked into a new gym or facility and felt completely lost? Even as an instructor there is always a slight sense of hesitation when stepping into a new facility or gym.  I have often heard that the intimidation of stepping foot into a new gym has kept many from going at all.  I have tried for years to help people gain confidence to go to new gyms without a trainer and know what to do ON THEIR OWN.  Having a trainer is great and obviously I wouldn’t have a job if I didn’t think so- BUT wouldn’t you like to have the confidence to go on your own? Or even if you aren’t a newbie- isn’t it nice to have a plan or some guidance to make sure you are on the right track?
